About

I’ve always wanted my home to feel like a place my family loves coming back to.

Somewhere my husband can settle in and relax. Somewhere my children associate with comfort, familiar traditions, and holidays worth remembering. Somewhere that feels like us.

That’s the heart of Deeply Home.

I’m Lynn, and finding unusual decorating ideas and just-right details has long been part of how I make a house feel like home. I enjoy looking, comparing, and imagining before deciding what belongs in a room. Sometimes that means finding something special. Other times, it means pulling out an old favorite and using it differently.

A Little Inspiration for Your Own Home

Deeply Home is where I share home and holiday decorating ideas, seasonal finds, and projects you can make yourself.

You’ll find inspiration for welcoming porches, inviting rooms, festive tables, and those smaller corners that deserve a little attention, too. Some ideas are simple enough to borrow for an afternoon refresh. Others are more elaborate, meant to spark a possibility you might never have considered.

You don’t have to recreate an entire room to make an idea your own. A ribbon color, an arrangement of branches, or an unexpected combination of pieces may be all you need.

From Imagined Spaces to Real-Life Ideas

Many of the inspiration images on Deeply Home are AI generated. They let me explore decorating concepts, settings, and combinations beyond what I could stage and photograph myself.

Those images are starting points for imagination. They aren’t photographs of my home, and the objects shown aren’t necessarily exact products you can purchase.

The accompanying articles explore what makes each look work and suggest ways to interpret it with similar pieces, practical adjustments, and things you may already own. When I share a DIY project, the goal is to help you create your own version rather than promise an exact copy of an imagined object.

The Traditions Matter Most

For me, decorating is connected to the life happening around it.

It’s the anticipation of getting out the holiday boxes. The familiar pieces that return year after year. The table where everyone gathers and the little traditions children remember long after they’ve grown.

I want a home that feels comfortable enough to live in and special enough to remember. I created Deeply Home to share that wish with people who feel the same way.

Welcome. I hope you find an idea here that feels right for the place you call home.
